rhinoplasty

The earliest reports of reconstruction rhinoplasty date back to ancient India. Rhinoplasty techniques were carried out by the ayurvedic physician Sushruta (c. 800 BC), who described reconstruction of the nose in the Sushruta samhita (c. 500 BC), his medico–surgical compendium. The physician Sushruta and his medical students developed and applied plastic surgical techniques for reconstructing noses that were amputated as religious, criminal, or military punishment. Today, whilst many people choose rhinoplasty as a means of improving their appearance, rhinoplasty surgery can also have important functional benefits through addressing underlying problems with the nose.

Rhinoplasty surgery is more commonly known as nose plastic surgery, nose reshaping or nose job surgery. Rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure that involves reshaping the nose. It can be either a cosmetic procedure performed by a surgeon to improve the appearance of the nose, a medically necessary procedure to improve nasal breathing, or a combination of both. Rhinoplasty Clinic Sydney is here to assist in all areas of breathing and nasal.

The goal of rhinoplasty surgery is to create a natural and pleasing looking nose that suits the face. Plastic surgery of the nose, or rhinoplasty, is a frequently requested and challenging cosmetic procedure. The key to a successful outcome is to create a natural and well-proportioned nose without sacrificing breathing function.

Obstruction to your nose can have a huge impact on the quality of your life. A major function of our nose is to filter air through our nasal passages. By reducing or stopping the amount of air that you are able to breathe can affect your overall health quite easily. One of these effects can be nasal passage blockage, which can result in snoring.

As well as treating problems with appearance and breathing, rhinoplasty can be combined with other procedures to enhance or restore balance to the face. These include anti-wrinkle treatments, lip augmentation, ear pinning surgery, endoscopic sinus surgery, and even other simple injectables, rejuvenating fillers or anti-aging treatments.
